Highlighter pens were invented in the 1960s as a way to grab a reader’s attention. Today, highlighters are made with tinted plastic pellets that are melted into pen molds. Once assembled, a machine has the pens draw 700 to 1000 circles to make sure the batch works properly.

  1. Everything about this video is so mechanical. Even the writing of the narration seems robotic, like who talks like this. Narrator man did good with what he got.
